C++ Team Leader & Software Eng, Full Time

ThreatMETRIX is a Sydney based (Chatswood Central) developer of next generation Internet Security applications for enterprise customers.

We require a Team Leader/Software Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer for product development in our range of forensic analysis and Internet security products. 

Either role is an excellent opportunity for Software Engineers who have a passion for internet security. Candidates can expect to rapidly assume their respective positions in a dedicated team of highly skilled engineers. Your project will require a desire to formulate and deliver new innovative solutions in a fast-moving, competitive and stimulating environment. 

Our management team has a great track record with building successful security companies and already have credible customers, investment and have been awarded a government grant to build new products - this is a top team looking for great engineers.

<b>Significance of Linux</b> is that our systems currently use a mix of Linux and Windows. These new roles are involved in a Linux based security appliance. If you have embedded or harndening skills that is an advantage.

<b>Mandatory Requirements are:</b>
<li>Minimum 2 years commercial experience
<li>C++ on Linux Platforms
<li>C++ on Windows Platforms (TL role)
<li>Team management skills and a proven capability to mentor both technical and professional skills (TL Role)
<li>Ability to achieve development goals
<li>Self-driven attitude 
<li>Perl & Web Scripting skill
</ul>
<b>Desirable skills:</b> 
<li>C++ on Windows Platforms (SE role)
<li>Linux administration skills
<li>Client/Server Architecture experience
<li>TCP/IP experience
<li>iptables/snort/libpcap competency
<li>SQL Server/DB Experience
<li>System scalability and optimization</ul>
