My client, an undisputed leader in their sector, is looking for a Systems Team Leader with solid technical skills in data centre and desktop / server management, with a proven track-record of team leadership of 5 specialist systems administrators.  The technical environment covers both Australia and NZ responsibility, and includes Opex and Capex budgeting.  

The core aspects of the role will involve managing technical team activities across 100+ servers.  You will lead efforts across server issues with desktop and applications systems integration and technical design improvement initiatives across; RedHat Linux, AIX, Windows NT/2000, SAN storage, Outlook/Exchange, Server clustering and environment monitoring, and back-up/DRP strategies.  Infrastructure that underpins the company’s core business systems and near $1 billion Aust/NZ group revenues.  

These systems provide (extensive) platforms for; “B2B/Web Application e-Business, core ERP, and over 30 other applications covering key areas such as; documentation management, client relationship management, call centre applications, CRM, warehousing & distribution, e-mail, enterprise application integration (EAI) applications, and Datawarehouse & financial analysis tools.
