Junior Systems Administrator, Full Time

Lanrex Consulting Services is a Systems Integrator working with clients in a variety of industries. Based in Lindfield we service and supportclients both remotely and on-site throughout Australia.

We are currently looking for a Junior Linux Systems Engineer. This role is a customer facing position. You will need experience in operating and maintaining Linux-based servers (including Firewalls, DNS, VPNs). You need to will be focused oncompleting tasks efficiently without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and resolve Network problems.
* Diagnose and Troubleshoot Server and Application problems.
* Perform on-going Administration of Linux services.
* Manage client networks remotely and on-site.

You will have:
* Strong administration skills.
* An understanding of IP-based networks and Internet Services.
* An understanding of scripting (Perl, Shell, etc).
* Excellent customer-service skills.
* Be able to operate as part of a team and work un-supervised.
* Be able to follow procedures and documentation.
* Own transport and drivers licence
