On-Line Games Network Administ, Full Time

To be responsible for the operating system, application & database layer of SCE’s on-line gaming platform.

<B>Specific Duties Include:</B>
* Manage existing monitoring & support contracts with suppliers.

* Manage the set-up and testing of the RT environment for all new games (liaising with European head office) including infrastructure

* Maintain all user documentation relating to the environment 

* Manage the upgrade strategy for all applications

* Project work

<B>Experience Required:</B>
* Experience with at least one Linux distribution (preferably Red Hat).

* Experience with at least one database application (preferably Oracle).

* Experience with TCP/IP networks.

* Ability to demonstrate a practical example of being self taught in relation to a new application.

* Experience in scripting (CGI, Perl, PHP, etc), 

* Experience in Cisco switches/routers & Checkpoint firewalls would also be viewed favorably.

* Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines

* Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with people of all levels in the company.

* Initiative to constantly improve current practices/processes.
