Ninja Programmer required, Full Time

> smite bug

You clean the last error out of your code, write a test program, and once
you've updated the documentation you check in the final change to your opus.

As an enthusastic and competent programmer (and hobbyist systems
adminstrator on your home unix-like machine), you're well versed in object
oriented design and secure programming methods, which you apply to your own
software. You can design, and migrate data to, a fifth-normal database
schema in your sleep (which is what you spent most of your computing degree
doing, though while there you did learn a lot about the correlations of beer consumption
and Perl programming. At least you got a Pass average). You've written at
least one neat hack you could proudly call Truly Evil. You read at least
one geeky webcomic regularly.

You see a job offering at Anchor, an exciting young webhosting company, for
a programmer to help automate their webhosting and domain registration systems
using Python and PostgreSQL.

> look at offering

Harnessing the power of the Internet to give you ninja-like powers of
observation, you see inside their office at 160 Bourke Road Alexandria, just
south of the Sydney CBD. You see a coffee machine, a couch, some beer, and
a team of gurus working hard at their machines, but your attention is drawn
to a small void in the almost zen-like perfection of the automation systems.
A void you could easily fill. There is a spare workstation in the office.

> look at workstation

The workstation is shiny and new, already installed with your favourite
distribution, your favourite editor is fired up and waiting. There is a
brown envelope on the keyboard.

> look in envelope

The envelope contains a salary package of fourty big ones plus benefits for
this full time position. You are ready to start work right away.

> send resume

You send your resume to jobs at anchor.net.au in either PostScript, PDF, HTML
or plain text format, realising that anything else won't make it to the eyes
of a human.

And one more thing, only Australian citizens or permanent residents that are native english speakers will be considered.
