Ecommerce Developer, Full Time

Must have minimum 2 yrs experience with strong general Linux/Unix development and deployment skills.
<br>Technologies such as Linux, C, Perl, XML and XSLT, Oracle, MySql, PL/SQL,EDI, Webmethods.
<br>The full time role is supporting and developing web-based electronic trading systems in a progressive dynamic environment with a well performing large company 
<br>Experience/Qualifications:
<br>We are looking for an experienced person with good system and problem solving skills but more importantly with the capacity and desire to learn these skills in a short timeframe and in a very commercial environment. 
<br>Strong Perl programming experience essential.
<br>A good practical knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, SSL etc) and strong SQL, RDMS experience is essential. 
<br>The candidate should be a self-starter capable of working without supervision who enjoys the challenge of resolving difficult problems and synthesising solutions if none exist whilst adhering to secure programming practices.
<br>Exposure or experience in Object Oriented Perl, XML, XSLT, EDI, Red Hat, Oracle, and Mysql will be well regarded.  
<br>Windows/IIS/ASP Development experience an advantage, but not essential.
<br>
