System Administrator, Contract

The Neuroimaging Laboratory at the Centre for Mental Health Studies and the Functional Neuroimaging Laboratory in the School of Behavioural Sciences engage in collaborative research into perceptual and cognitive functions using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and electrophysiology (EEG). A person is sought to support the information technology/data management and analysis needs of the two research facilities. The position will involve administration of a small Linux/Unix network, PC Support, data management, development of laboratory software, and support to staff and students with neuroimaging data analysis.

The successful applicant will have a strong IT background, excellent Linux/Unix skills, and experience in Matlab, C++, Java or Visual Basic. Experience with Neuroimaging, signal processing, or other bio-medical applications would be desirable.
