We are looking for an individual with Linux / Java skills to join us in pursuing an opportunity to distribute a point of sale system for the espresso bar & specialty coffee business market. Prefer skills appropriate to load, configure Linux platform & assist with testing of a Java based touch screen Point of Sale system.

The software we expect to use exists and is largely complete. It is based on the following Architecture: 
·       Java 2 Platform 
·       OS: Linux 
·       Database, Interbase® from Borland (IPL) 
·       JavaPOS open standard for peripheral support 
·       Scanning or touch screen menu retail environments
