The IT Technical Analyst located in Tamworth would be responsible for the following:

•	Novell Network admin
•	General PC/LAN (Windows 95, 98 NT 4 will change to Windows 2000 in 6 to 8 months).
•	Sastek admin, and system updates. (SCO Unix 5).
•	Sastek hardware maintenance support.
•	Excel system admin etc. (Open VMS 7.2).
•	Mainpac.
•	Micropay.
•	Linux Server.
•	WinFrame.
•	Food Trader support for clients (Progress v8.3B).
•	Fingerscan.
•	Ozdocs.
•	Printer and Photocopier Maintenance agreements.
•	VIA scan (by VQA).
•	Help with planning, installation and commissioning of IT projects.

It would be an advantage but not a requirement to have experience with one or more of the following:

•	Progress version v8.3B.
•	Visual Basic.
•	Linux, SCO 5 and or HP UNIX 10.20.
•	Open VMS 7.2.
•	Windows NT administration or Windows 2000.
•	Barcode printers (Intermec, UBI or other).
•	Serial communications (RS232, RS422, 485).
•	Accounting systems.
•	Beef industry.
•	Oracle RDB.
