<p>Thank you so much Jonathan and Council - we're indeed affected by
COVID-19 restrictions currently, but when they lift we're looking
forward to Python with Pizza :-) <br>

<p>Hoping you and yours stay safe and well, <br>

The Linux Australia Council discussed this grant application at its meeting
on Wednesday 18 May 2021. We are pleased to inform you that the grant
application was approved - congratulations!
The grant is to cover food and drink at monthly CPUG meetings for a period
of notionally 12 months to facilitate community relationship building as
outlined in the grant application. The total amount awarded is $1200 (an
average of $100 per month). If COVID-19 prevents some meetings going ahead
the funding will shift forward.
Please email the Linux Australia treasurer (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:treasurer@linux.org.au" moz-do-not-send="true">treasurer@linux.org.au</a>) to
arrange the required payments.
As per the grant guidelines, Linux Australia request that you provide a
brief report about the activities funded by this grant for inclusion in our
Annual Report. We ask that this be sent via email to <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:council@linux.org.au" moz-do-not-send="true">council@linux.org.au</a>
by the end of November to allow sufficient time for its incorporation into
the report. We realise that you may have had the opportunity to hold only
four meetings between now and then (with COVID-19 effects perhaps reducing
this further).
If you have further questions feel free to contact myself or any member of
the Linux Australia Council.
Regards
Jonathan Woithe
(on behalf of the Linux Australia Council)
