[Grants] "Write the docs" sponsorship - grant application decision

Dear Felicity

Your grant application to fund a "First Draft" sponsorship of the 2024
"Write the Docs" conference was discussed at the Linux Australia Council
meeting on 14 August 2024.  Community feedback received during the
consultation period was considered which provided contrasting views. 
Ultimately Council decided to award the grant and thus provide the
sponsorship.

Please email the Linux Australia treasurer (treasurer at linux.org.au) to
arrange payment of the sponsorship funds and determine what documentation is
required.  Note too the reporting requirements attached to Linux Australia
grants; if you have any questions about how this might look for your event
feel free to get in touch with myself or the Linux Australia Council.
