The above URL has the details. It will be about FOSS phones and what has to be done to make regular Linux software work on them with the Librem 5 as a case study and demonstration. Hopefully a demonstration of a PinePhone too. https://b.coker.com.au/ No need to register, just visit the above URL at the appointed time to join the meeting. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/ From NZLUG at etelligence.info Sat Jul 2 11:19:41 2022 From: NZLUG at etelligence.info (DL Neil) Date: Sat, 2 Jul 2022 13:19:41 +1200 Subject: [Flounder] Flounder FOSS phones meeting in 11.5 hours In-Reply-To: <13120650.uLZWGnKmhe@liv> References: <13120650.uLZWGnKmhe@liv> Message-ID: <03f14c83-2e09-cd68-8ee0-94de3abef428@etelligence.info> On 02/07/2022 03.36, Russell Coker via Flounder wrote: > https://flounder.linux.org.au/events/flounder-july-2022/ > > The July meeting will be 1PM Melbourne time (03:00 UTC) on the 2nd of July. > The above URL has the details. The web-conference 'room' is open. I won't be able to join immediately, but that just means that you-guys will have a so-much better time! Relevant to the topic, the h-node project[1] aims at the construction of a hardware database in order to identify what devices work with a fully free operating system. It recently added replicant as a supported distro. If you have a phone that can run replicant, PureOS or any fully free systems, please consider adding the phone to the database: https://h-node.org/notebooks/catalogue/en [1] https://h-node.org/ Disclosure: I'm the (sys)admin of the project. > > https://b.coker.com.au/ > > No need to register, just visit the above URL at the appointed time to join > the meeting. Some of the messages may have been duplicates but that's OK IMHO. For those people I added the address they used to the allowed list so in future they can use their alternative address to send. I let one spam through by stuffing up on the web admin. Obviously I'm not doing a great job of this. Would anyone like to take over the list admin/moderation? There's like 1 message per month to deal with so it's not a lot of work unless you are already overloaded. Also if the new moderator could find out where Mailman stores it's whitelist and remove info at uxstudioteam.com that would be good. Thanks. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/ From ianbrown78 at gmail.com Wed Jul 13 11:13:18 2022 From: ianbrown78 at gmail.com (Ian Brown) Date: Wed, 13 Jul 2022 11:13:18 +1000 Subject: [Flounder] list moderation In-Reply-To: <17827695.sWSEgdgrri@xev> References: <17827695.sWSEgdgrri@xev> Message-ID: Morning all, I am happy to look after the list and have used mailman extensively over the years.
