Subject: [Debian-au] DebConf18 Taiwan bid

Hi all,

There is a bid for DebConf18 in Taiwan, which, if successful, would be
the first DebConf in the Asia-Pacific region. It would be awesome if
some of us could lend our support to it. It would also be an ideal
sponsorship opportunity for Australian companies interested in entering
Asian markets or hiring folks from Asia who might attend DebConf18.

There is also a rumour of the possibility DebConf Down Under in later years.

of Melbourne, on 2016-08-12 ? 2016-08-16.

Who else is going? It'd be great to have the conference ? and key
signing my new GnuPG key ? as an excuse to chat over a beverage with
some fine Debian folk.
