SLUG and SLUG's Debian Special Interest Group are having a codefest this
Saturday 29th May:

-- What --

SLUG Codefests are informal hacking days. Bring yourself, a computer and
some ideas for things to hack on.

The day will feature:
 - Hacking talks (Ben Leslie, Jamie Wilkinson, Del...)
 - Hacking drinks (I heard something about caffeine...)
 - Hacking

If you don't have anything in mind to code, you'll probably be pointed
in the direction of a Debian Release Critical bug, see
http://bugs.debian.org/release-critical/ and
http://bugs.debian.org/

-- When --

Sat. 29th May 2004, 10am - 3pm.

-- Where --

Lab 108, School of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of
Sydney (Camperdown/Darlington campus -- the main one).

There's a map of the surrounding buildings at
http://db.auth.usyd.edu.au/directories/map/building.stm?ref=L22P27 (see
O24) and an overview map at
http://db.auth.usyd.edu.au/directories/map/largemap00a.html

-- Getting there --

The main USyd campus is a bit south-west of the city centre, the north
end is adjacent to Broadway.

Car: parking is available on campus or in nearby parking stations, see
http://www.security.usyd.edu.au/traff.html#fou for details

Bus: USyd is serviced by many buses. Since the School of EIE is towards
the south end of campus, you'd be best off catching the 422, 423, 426 or
428 from Railway Square along City Rd rather than the
Broadway/Parramatta Rd buses.

Train: Redfern station is a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the south end
of campus, you could also go to Central and either walk (15-20 minutes)
or catch a 42x bus.

-- Thanks --

Thanks to David Peterson for organising the room, the School of EIE for
allowing us to use the room, Craige McWhirter for starting this off, and
SLUG and SLUG DebSIG.
