Hi Admin Team,
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Just following up on this to see how
things are going.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">To confirm a couple of things based on
the conversation with Steve at the last LA Council
meeting:</div>
<div class="">* The existing LCA2021 email and/or
mailing lists can be kept, but please transfer
ownership/admin to Sae Ra and I. We will manage this
for the LCA2021 online conference.</div>
<div class="">* I expect that there won’t be anything
setup yet for LCA2022. This is not needed just yet,
but what we would like is for this to be setup
sometime soon, and for myself to be added as an
admin for the mail and lists. I will then do the
base setup and ensure the LCA2022 team starts to use
this.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">As an aside, I tried logging into the LA
Mailhost Postfix (<a
href="https://mailhost.linux.org.au/mail" class=""
moz-do-not-send="true">https://mailhost.linux.org.au/mail</a>)
and I can no longer login. I assumed I would lose
access to the LCA2020 admin at some point, so
perhaps this is part of that, but wanted to check.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Thanks,</div>

<div class="">Could we please get the
following setup for LCA. This are the
resources for LCA2021 and LCA2022, which
the Conference Web Team will setup for the
individual conference teams.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">* 1 new VM in Proxmox</div>

for the LCA websites going forward. We

containers on this VM. </div>
<div class="">(The existing LCA2020 VM will
be used for the time being to host the
basic static websites for LCA2021 and
LCA2022, then will be terminated once we
have moved across to the k8s setup. I am
happy for resources to be scaled back on
this and reassigned to the new VM if
needed.)</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">* <a

setup to point to the same location as <a

class="" moz-do-not-send="true">lca2021.linux.org.au</a>.
I will then get the sites enabled on that
VM (including https which is missing
currently). </div>
<div class=""><br class="">

<div class="">* LCA2021 email setup on
mailhost. I will do account creation and
assignment similar to LCA2020</div>
<div class="">* LCA2021 mailing list base

on the lca-tools machine once the base
