Most educators believe NCLB was well-intentioned. However, we have clearly learned that there are major flaws in functionality - such as evaluation practices, unrealistic or unfair expectations, and most critically, a major funding shortage! Most districts cannot cut through the red tape to actually receive the funds they had budgeted for, and through no fault of their own, many districts ultimately ended up losing funding because they were unsuccessful in accessing them. Sadly, many school districts within our education system suffered.

As an educator advocate group, 360 Education Solutions is excited to bring you relevant information and legislative updates regarding President-elect Obama's initiative for change in American education. We believe our new president understands the issues and is willing to listen to us. In the New Year, we will be introducing a way for your voice to be heard. "Change" inevitably invites resistance, and is difficult to achieve without a certain level of unity. It can be done successfully with your valued input, your cooperation, and your unwavering passion for serving America's youth.
