  Dear sir/madam,
   
  RE:   REQUEST FOR OLD,REFURBISHED COMPUTERS,PRINTERS & DIGITAL CAMERAS.
   
  VolsT.A.C (volunteers for traditional art conservation) is a small village based organisation consisting of artists and enthusiasts volunteering in the effort to try in any way conserve the traditional and ancient art of the people of central Maringe district of Santa Isabel island ,Solomons.
   
  unlike the present day peoples of the neibouring provinces of the solomons who are still vibrant wood carvers and craftsmen, the maringe people nowadays have little or no knowledge at all of their traditional art practised by their ancestors. The only evidence showcasing the once upon a time art of the Maringe people are the  remnants of old wooden artefacts and other items scatterded along the coast of Maringe some in the hands of the last of their custodians. These however are endangered items as they are exposed to vandalism, exposure to harsh weather conditions and natural causes.
   
  VolsT.A.C in a small but manageable effort ,identifies this area that it can help make a contribution to the cause. We are pursuing the task of trying to document ,compile and catalogue through photography all or any remaing ancient art pieces or works from ancient murals, tombstone inscriptions, sacrificial sites, head hunting armour designs to ceremonial ornament desgns.The group  needs :a computer (just any computer that can type )a printer and a digital camera for this task and eventually in the near future come up with a full color catalgue fo the said work.
   
  However ,as a small volunteer ,non profit unfunded group we are seeking any avenue or any details from your organisation that might help us acquire old or refurbished equipments that would help us in our goal. we would also like to know if overseas groups are elible to access your services.If there is a possibility , we would like details of equipment type , how to order , costs etc.
  VolsT.A.C. would be willing to provide you with detailed information about the group if you require us to do so. We would like to thank you in advance for your assitance and we look forward for you response to our request.
