Hi Scott,

Just one last tip...

If your modem fails to detect with the utility we have provided and it
asks you where your modem device is, type in:

/dev/ttyS0 

This will usually work. Failing that, type in:

/dev/ttyS1 

and see how you go with that. 

These are the direct paths to the modem device on your com ports.
Provided everything is set up as Thao/John has suggested, one of these
will usually work.
