Hi everyone

I had a modprobe problem and the Computer wouldn't boot

so I made an appointment with Computerbank and they used a boot disk and
rescue disk
Got in and we aggreed to certain Personal Files to be remove Some packages
and especially pictures

As they had worked very hard and the computer would boot though still
critical
I took it home to Continue to delete folders purge packages not needed
and install packages and purge them to remove them from the hdd
I have debian Sid 128 mg RAM 2.3 hdd

I had tp remove Openoffice to install and purge other files abiword and
koffice were already purged

I have removed --purged most Games, Galeon, Internet Packages I don't
use things like kalarm kcalc ksirc kpaint tuxpaint all sorts of things
Even things that I use

It is down to 90% I might be able to Squeeae Open office back on but I
don't want to chance it
I don't wqant to do a clean out of the hard drive incase there is things
that are not installed ok config
and losse config files that I might need

I view var/lib/dkpg/status to find things to clear
I have look at var/lib/dpkg/available as well

If I go kstart/system/info centre/memory and as this is constantly changing
says for physical memory approx

    disk cache 39%
    disk buffer 8%
    application data 49%
free memory 3 Mb free

If I go kstart/system/info centre/storage devises 89% used hdd

If I run df-h Its say 90% as well

So is it from the upgrade to Debian Sid that's taken up so much room?
Or is it these new files in home/avery when I use quickbrowser or in
konqueror using home/avery hidden files
They weren't there before the -d dist-upgrade
I think they are in home/David as well

I can't take off much more
Can it be something to do with the cache

I have no idea

Avery
