[Cbsupport] compatible printers

hi,

i'm having a lot of trouble finding printers that are compatible
to linux. the ones that computer bank recommended are out of date
and now impossible to get. what models and brands would you
recommend? most salespeople want to sell me a canon 100 but
no-one can tell me wether or not it is compatible except the
salesman who told me there was no such thing as linux! (somehow i
don't think he knows much about computers huh?)
