<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title></title></head><body><div id="defanged1" class="u-article u-containFloats u-quirksmode" style="z-index:0 !important;overflow-x:visible !important;overflow-y:visible !important;height:auto !important;width:auto !important;min-height:0px !important;min-width:0px !important;"><p>Dear Linux Australia Community,</p><p><b>Annual Report</b></p><p>The Linux Australia 2025-2026 Annual Report, including the audited financial statements for 2024-2025, is now available on the <a href="https://linux.org.au/about-us/annual-reports/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LA website</a>.</p><p> </p><p><b>AGM</b></p><p>The Linux Australia AGM will be held during Everything Open 2026 on Wednesday 21 January at 6pm AEDT (UTC+11).<br> PLEASE NOTE: This is slightly later than the original advertised time, due to adjustments in the Everything Open schedule.</p><p>The meeting will:</p><ul><li>(a) confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting and any special general meetings held since the previous annual general meeting,</li><li>(b) receive reports from the committee on the association’s activities during the previous financial year,</li><li>(c) elect office-bearers and ordinary committee members, or announce the results of a ballot held prior to the annual general meeting under subclause ComEle-4,</li><li>(d) receive and consider financial statements or reports required to be submitted to members of the association under the Act.</li></ul><p>For those attending in person, the AGM will be held in the Keynote Theatre - Room 2B09 in Building 2, University of Canberra. For those attending remotely, please join using <a href="https://meet.jit.si/moderated/4b4234eef326c748750ce28fd1af16932408d167146a5c29aa0e2aed67d03c55" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Jitsi</a>.</p><p>The minutes for <a href="https://linux.org.au/2025-linux-australia-agm-minutes/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">last year's AGM</a> and the <a href="https://linux.org.au/minutes-of-linux-australia-special-general-meeting-april-2025/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Special General Meeting</a> to vote on a new constitution are available on our website. </p><p>Please find below the draft agenda for the AGM. I also hereby call for any agenda items to be tabled for discussion at the Annual General Meeting.
