The next couple of months is going to see discussion of a few
important topics and I want to have as many members as possible
involved to make sure they have an opportunity to have their say. At
the moment LA has more than 800 members but less than 300 of them are
on the linux-aus mailing list, which means the rest will miss out on
discussions about:

 * Reviewing the structure of LA to so it can continue to grow and
support the AU FOSS community.
 * Discussion of bids for LCA2007 and the selection of the host city.
 * Submissions regarding the changes to Australia's intellectual property laws.
 * Planning the LA presence at LinuxWorld and CeBIT next year.
 * Nominations and voting for the next Committee.

So if you're not already subscribed to linux-aus *please* do so ASAP.
