[Advocacy] Training On Digitizing Project Monitoring Information System (PMIS)

Hi,

Institute for Project and Finance Management ( IPFM ) , Bangalore, India wishes to announce forthcoming Capacity Building program on “ Digitizing Project Monitoring  Information System  ( PMIS) adopting MEAL ( Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) approach and using cloud based FLAMINGO M&E software and Activity Updater APP” ,  scheduled from 5th June 2023 to 7th June 2023 at Goa, India.

With our vast experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, and IT for development, above short term training is planned for M&E team members , program managers and MIS team of INGOs, GOs and Grant making organizations.

Focus of the training is on logically setting the monitoring mechanism with a real time data collection method, system driven monitoring, on-line reviews of significant deviations and delays, and big data analytics of the information that are collected from the projects. M&E framework inter-locking the project framework will be demonstrated with hands-on sessions.

Participants will be trained on the IT tools and provided access to open license software tools and the mobile app for their team members. It is designed in such a manner to train minimum of 3 persons involved in Planning, Monitoring and MEAL.

Orientation on how to fit the project matrix with built-in templates allowing micro level activity planning linking resource engagements, target group information and the immediate outputs. The participants will be imparted with hand on sessions to how to update project progress, program response, benefit identification, result observation, indicators presence and Learnings .

Organizations can make use of this capacity building opportunity with open license software tool for their country partners. Post training the support will be extended to handhold the implementation of the tool for the project period. There is no Annual Maintenance Cost for 3 years.

Course costs USD 4200 including all training logistics ( boarding, lodging and internal transfers from airport to the venue for a team of 3 participants from each organisation) .
